My name is Kent de Bruin.

I'm based in Amsterdam, but travel frequently.

I work as a freelance designer with clients ranging from startups, international brands, to government, and smaller companies.

I did projects in a variety of industries including personal computing, artificial intelligence (LLM's), architecture, furniture, government and housing.

I work independently on photography projects, and hope to publish my work in book-form one day.

I also co-run (Wip) a magazine called 1-800-CRY, on the topic of vulnerability & intimacy.

Previously, I was the first designer at Sail, founding partner at Studio Kiri (acqui-hired), and two-time startup founder at Acaboo (Sunset) and Able (Sunset).

I hold a MSc in Digital Design, and a BSc in Business Administration. I also studied Digital Innovation at Hyper Island.

I love spending time on Are.na (@kent) researching all sorts of topics.

I'm tall (200cm / 6ft7).

I dj under the name SIXFOOTSEVEN. For my selections I dig from a variety of genres including house, italo disco, ambient, IDM, acid and 90s trance.

I'm born on the middle day of the year (non-leap years).

I have spent way too much time on a note taking system.
